David started his career in the early 2000s in drafting and job coordination for single-family and marine construction — giving him a hands-on foundation that most investors never develop. He spent 18+ years in the prosthetic and orthotic industry, building deep expertise in client relationships, complex problem-solving, and operating in highly specialized fields.
He brought that same operator mindset to real estate, focusing on RV parks, mobile home parks, short-term rentals, and value-add acquisitions. David doesn't just underwrite deals — he gets his hands dirty, structures creative financing others won't attempt, and sees every project through to execution.
Marina is a University of Alabama-trained interior designer who brings a rare combination of creative vision and operational execution to every project. Her background spans space planning, short-term rental design, and full remodels — and she's not above picking up a paintbrush or swinging a sledgehammer when the job calls for it.
At Birdsong, Marina leads the design and repositioning work on acquisitions — turning underperforming assets into spaces that command premium rents and strong reviews. Her attention to detail and practical approach to every project is a core part of what makes Birdsong's value-add strategy work.
